Working since 13 years in logistics and freight forwarding, I ve been in charge for the past 18 months of the off site logistic of the Koniambo Project, a USD 5,5 billion nickel mining project located in the North of New Caledonia.
Freight for freight frowarding was about USD 120 million and 850 000 FRT have been moved.
I m now looking for new position in Asia, preferably in Malaysia, on a new project.

Aug 2010 / Dec 2011 Off Site Logistic Manager
- Leading the outbound logistics team based at site (4 staff + 2 freight forwarder implants) and managing the contractual and commercial relationship with the awarded freight forwarders
- Budgeting and cost follow up
- Managing the daily operation with the Site in New Caledonia, the Yards, the awarded freight forwarders and the customs broker and liaising with the port logistics team to ensure smooth offloading of the chartered vessel
- Defining opportunities to consolidate the freight and charter vessel to maximise cost savings
- Liaising with all level of the project (Vendors, Buyers, Engineers, Expediting, Yards team, Site team) for all shipping activities ensuring all people provide and receive the requested information to allow a smooth freight forwarding and customs clearance

- Monitoring the Temporary importation process (procedures, revision, shipping documents conformity…) allowing a duties and taxes exemption for all the free issued equipment to the different yards in China and Indonesia and establishing traffic and shipping procedures
- Reviewing and updating forecast to ensure all materials to be shipped according to schedule

- Consulting in funding their commercial activity after the company buyout(establishing their marketing tools and policies, targeting, prospecting and defining qualified clients)

- Establishing new policies for North African activity : technical support, operations, cooperation with others agencies of the company, training the sales department staff on the products
- Launching and developing new products : combined transport air-road Asia-North Africa, Customs brokering in Spain for the imports from Morocco, inventory of decentralized stocks of clients
- Prompting and developing relationships with the foreign agents on the North African lines : monitoring the after sales services of the Tunisian and Moroccan subsidiaries, setting up and organizing the partnership between Redhead UK and these subsidaries
- Defining, creating and setting up logistic solutions requested by clients

Results – Turnover 2006 : 4 500 K€, a 25% increase in three years and a 40% increase of gross profits in the same period
