Ship Operations Manager - Viking Forcados:
•In charge of providing a fully operational vessel to the projects (manning, equipment, subcontractors, etc.).
•Optimising the vessel schedule by seeking additional works to fill the gaps between projects and improving the transition from one project to another.

2010 - 2012

• In charge of building the detailed anticipated operations schedule prior to the installation phases based on benchmarks of previous projects.
• Assisting managing/coordinating the logistics team on our remote bases to efficiently support the offshore operations.
• Following up on a daily basis the ongoing operations for both the heavy lift and pipe-lay vessel Sapura3000 and the ROV/survey vessel Rem Etive.
• Lead of five field engineers dealing with the structures and double joints load-out/transportation plans, vessels mobilisation procedures and compliance reports.
• On-site to optimize the Sapura3000 mobilisation/demobilisation, to supervise cargo barge load-outs and to ensure on-time delivery of two critical PLETs.
• Operational interface between the different packages and the Sapura3000: J-Lay Tower installation/removal and Flowlines offshore installation in J-lay mode.
• In charge of the selection of the ROV/survey vessel and the supply vessels as per contract requirement.
• In support of the Flowlines & Risers team for the review of the installation procedures thanks to a strong operational background.

• Sept 10: GEP Block 17 and Pazflor onboard Acergy Polaris in Angola.
Above Water Tie-In of a 24” line with an abandonment PLET, in 40mwd. Installation of clusters of four piles each in 1100mwd and deck preparation with a complex mooring spread for mooring lines installation.
• June 10 – Aug 10: GEP Block 17 onboard Acergy Polaris in Angola.
S-laying of a 24” line on DP mode, demobilisation logistics and deck modification for the next project.
• Mar 10 – May 10: ALNG onboard Acergy Polaris in Angola.
S-laying of three lines (18”, 22” & 24”) on both anchor and DP modes from a triple beach pull, plus 18” line Above Water Tie-In.
• Dec 09 – Feb 10: Block 15 onboard Acergy Polaris in Angola.
Installation of vertical and horizontal jumpers and PLEMs with trawling protections: 300mT at 1000mwd.
• Sept 09 – Nov 09: Block 15 onboard Acergy Polaris in Angola.
J-laying with initiation/laydown PLETs. Repair of the Polaris Clyde crane. Installation of the Single Hybrid Riser, vertical Jumpers and PLEMs.
• Jun 09 – Jul 09: Mobilisation of Acergy Polaris in Congo and Block 15 in Angola.
Reconfiguration of the Polaris Clyde crane. Installation of piles (170mT each) and first J-laying initiation with the new PLET Handling System (PHS).
• Nov 08 – Dec 09: Mobilisation of Acergy Polaris / Legend in Gabon.
Re-mobilisation of Legend’s & Polaris’ full spread after their dry-docks.
• Jun 08 - July 08: Agbami onboard Acergy Legend in Nigeria.
Floating hoses and mooring hawsers installation at CALM Buoy location, including hydro-testing/pre-commissioning, supported by air divers. Flexible pull-in inside FPSO BSLMs for Technip, supported by Acergy air divers.
• Feb 08 - Apr 08: Agbami onboard Acergy Polaris in Nigeria.
2 off 2.2 km, 20” OOL between FPSO and CALM buoy (S-laying), flexible joint pull-in and connection into CALM buoy, supported by air divers.
• Dec 07 - Jan 08: Moho Bilondo and Kizomba C onboard Acergy Legend in Angola. Parking structures for riser connectors, clump weights and flying leads installation supported by ROV, metrology, as-laid and as-build survey.
• Oct 07: EPC2B onboard Acergy Hawk in Nigeria.
Umbilical laying with I-tube pull-in and connection to SSIV valve, mattresses installation, free span correction, 35m-17mT in-line spools recovery, anchors recovery, supported by saturation divers.
• In support of projects in Paris office (technical reviews of task plans/procedures) and also taking care of steady improvements of vessel equipment, especially the 1500Te Clyde crane of the Acergy Polaris. Dedicated support to the project team in charge of the SHR and horizontal jumpers installation (first time for both structures for Acergy).

• Apr 07 - Mai 07: Dai Hung Tie-In onboard Acergy Hawk in Vietnam.
Installation of gravity bases with ballast blocks and 120mT bulky mid-depth buoys at 100mwd, supported by saturation divers.
• In support of tenders within the Umbilical, Flexible and Riser department: reel packing, preliminary lay analysis, writing of technical notes and operation plans.

2005 - 2006

• In charge of projects, from tender to installation phase, in the following fields: air-conditioning, heating, plumbing & ventilation. Management of a 15 workers team in several work areas, including one hospital and some medical centres. Negotiation with clients and furnishers.
